SEND

SEND

The school has high ambitions for all pupils, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND).

Pupils with SEND are supported well. Staff promptly and accurately identify pupils needs. They have been given training so that they can adjust lessons to meet the needs of individual pupils This means that pupils with SEND learn the curriculum alongside their peers.

What our parents say:

When my son first started at St Johns, I didn’t believe mainstream school would be appropriate for him. But from the amazing support of both staff and pupils, he has thrived and progressed so much all the way through to Year 6. St Johns have always made him feel included, understood his needs and been kind. I couldn’t have asked for a better school for my autistic son. I am so pleased we kept him in this school and we have received excellent support to get him to where he will be going for secondary school. Thank you St Johns.
